Nanocrystalline block cores

Nanocrystalline block cores

Nanocrystalline block cores (NMBC) are made of nanocrystalline tapes with widths of 10 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm and 50 mm. Through appropriate thermomagnetic treatment of block cores, it is possible to broadly shape their magnetic properties, i.e. changes in magnetic permeability and the shape of the hysteresis loop. The advantage of this type of cores is their modular construction - a variable number of internal blocks and the possibility of introducing air gaps into the magnetic circuit. This makes it possible to calibrate the operational parameters of the complete core. NMBC block cores are used in chokes operating at higher frequencies of the magnetizing current.
